Training Event for Therapists and Church Staff coming June 26-27. Understanding and Treating Sex Addiction is a two -day training event designed for therapists, church staff, and leaders of support group ministries. It focuses on helping people who help others deal with addiction. Space is still available for this event, and church staff and students can attend at discounted rates.
Our next men's workshop is coming July 17-19. Our three-day men's workshops are a great way to start the recovery process, or get back on track if things aren't going well. These workshops are a mainstay of our ministry, and are an important step in the healing journey for men caught in the trap of compulsive sexual behavior. These workshops are held at our counseling center in Eden Prairie, and are life-changing events for men who participate. Click here for more information.
Deb Laaser's new book hits the shelves. Deb's new book for spouses, "Shattered Vows," is out this month, and available for purchase from our bookstore. The insights come not only from her own experience in recovery and the restoration of her marriage, but also the work she's done with hundreds of women at our counseling center and around the world.
New follow-up strategy in place for workshop attendees. It's one thing to go to a workshop and get excited about making changes, but it's quite another to actually implement those changes when you get back home.
