Couples' Intensives
Intensives are recommended for those who are just getting started
and need a quick and basic way to get going. They can be particularly
helpful for couples in which awareness of sexual addiction has
just occured. Intensives can also be helpful to those who have
been on the healing journey for some time but currently feel
stuck.
Intensive counseling experiences occur at the Faithful and True
Ministries Counseling Center in Eden Prairie, MN. Our center
is located 20-30 minutes from the Minneapolis Airport. Intensives
are 3-4 day experiences for individuals and couples. Typically
Dr. Laaser and the staff work with people 4-6 hours per day.
This time can be structured in a variety of ways including invidual
and couple's time. Depending on the nature of the problems,
intensive time can be educational and also deeply therapeutic
in terms of experiential healing work.
Intensive counseling must be scheduled at least 2-4 weeks ahead
of the time of the visit. A $500 deposit is required to reserve
the time. (Please note that this deposit is non-refundable.) Fees are based on the center's hourly rates for therapy.
