Training at Academic Institutions

Dr. Laaser maintains adjunct faculty  status at several academic programs.

Fuller Theological Seminary offers a program in recovery ministry.  Dr. Laaser regularly offers a course there, in the Summer, called “Pastoral Care and Healthy Sexuality.”  Please check the Fuller web site for schedules and more information.

Richmont Graduate University (formerly Psychological Studies Institute) and the Institute for Sexual Wholeness offer training on their Atlanta campus in both sex therapy and sex addiction.  Please check out their programs on their web sites.

Denver Theological Seminary offers courses in healthy sexuality, including training in sexual addiction, as part of its D.Min. program.   This course is offered every two to three years so check its web site for times and location.

Training Events Through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)

AACC is the largest association of lay and professional Christian counselors in the world.  They regularly conduct World and Regional conferences.  Dr. Laaser is a frequent seminar/workshop presenter at these events and usually track leader for the addictions track.  You can check out any of these events on their web site.
