AACC provides professional certification for lay, pastoral, and professionally licensed Christian counselors through the International Board of Christian Counselors (IBCC).  With the IBCC, Christian counselors can receive certification as Sex Addiction Specialists.  There are several levels that can be achieved:

  • Certified Lay Counselor
  • Certified Pastoral Counselor
  • Certified Professional Counselor
  • Certified Supervisor
  • Certified Trainer

The educational requirements for this certification can be achieved by attending any of the training events and opportunities listed here as well as attending events conducted by other Certified Trainers.
