Men’s Alumni Workshop-Recovery 2.0
Recovery 2.0 - Staying on course in the recover journey
This weekend workshop serves as a follow up to the Men’s Workshop, and will give you the support and guidance you need to take your recovery to the next level. The road of recovery is rarely a gradual, easy progression. Most often it’s more like a roller coaster, with twists and turns you never expected when you started. Our observation is that nobody does recovery perfectly. The key is to keep moving forward, learn from our mistakes, and make the adjustments we need to make.
Our Men’s Workshops have helped hundreds of men start and/or make big strides forward in the journey. But we know that recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. We have come to believe that recovery is an unfolding journey. After the initial months or years or recovery work, new issues arise. The life of recovery and the issues we deal with, are different when we are further along in this journey, but they are just as critical.
Whether your recover is going well (and you simply need a tune-up), or you are struggling in recovery, this weekend workshop will provide you with the tools you need. The workshop will include a mixture of individual exercises, group work, and teaching from Mark Brouwer, Mark Laaser and Greg Miller.
At this workshop you will:
- Learn the biggest challenges to ongoing recovery, and how to deal with them
- Discover a deeper way of living in recovery which helps overcome cross addictions as well as sex addiction
- Participate in experiential therapy and learning processes similar to what you experienced in the first workshop, but different and specifically focused for people further along in recovery
- Find out how other men in similar circumstances have faced their challenges
- Make lasting connections (or reconnections) with other men on the path of recovery
- Get new perspective about our common recovery mistakes (”Recovery Fail”) and how to correct them
- Come home with a plan for the next stage in the journey (Recovery 2.0)
The cost for this workshop is $599 with a $100 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. The balance for the workshop will be due on the Monday before it begins.
